The MIA passenger terminals are designed to the latest state-of-the-art technology and in accordance with IATA Service Level A standards. Muscat International Airport Terminal facilities are split into five levels. The first level comprises the Arrivals Hall, the second level has services and amenities, the third and fourth levels have the Departures Hall, and the fifth level houses the transit hotel Aerotel.
Salalah, known to many as the 'Land of Frankincense', is a holistic cultural and tourism destination in its own right. Salalah International Airport is the Sultanate of Oman's second largest international airport and is located on the Salalah coastal plain in the Dhofar Governorate. The airport features flights to regional destinations as well as a few intercontinental charter services from Europe.
Sohar Airport
Sohar Airport, approximately 10km northwest of Sohar, functions as a new gateway for passenger, cargo and courier traffic in northern Oman, and a domestic and emergency alternative to Muscat International Airport. It adds to an up-to-the-minute multimodal transport network that will stimulate additional economic growth in the Sultanate
Al Duqm Airport
The airport at Duqm has been envisioned to serve as a gateway into a region touted for its significant economic, industrial and commercial potential. Besides providing investors, executives and government officials with a speedy and convenient mode of transport, the airport also has the potential to further open up Duqm’s tourism capacity.
