International luxury brand, Amouage, has announced its sponsorship of Oman’s top racing driver Ahmad Al Harthy.

Covering the 2017 Endurance Racing Season, this new association brings together two celebrated leaders in their respective fields, united by a shared passion for excellence.

A racing enthusiast since the age of seven, Al Harthy was the first Omani driver to compete in Formula racing, making his debut on the Bahrain track in 2006. Quickly becoming a regular figure on the podium, he achieved considerable success in sprint events including the Porsche Carrera Cup and the Porsche Supercup before moving to endurance competitions. This year he will compete, driving his especially adapted Aston Martin Vantage GT3, in the Blancpain Endurance Cup with Oman Racing, the championship’s only Arab entrant.
